Branded as MyKey, IndyGo’s fare collection modernization efforts are well underway. Area high schoolers are using the new system to ride IndyGo under a universal sponsored rides program. IndyGo’s veteran customers have been converted over to the MyKey system. The mobile application has been piloted and is currently undergoing a stress test. The rest of the infrastructure is being tested. It is anticipated that individual customers will be able to register their MyKey accounts and begin using the system before the end of 2020. Payment integration efforts continue. In the summer of 2020, IndyGo was awarded an FY2020 Accelerating Innovation Mobility (AIM) Challenge Grant from the FTA. This grant will be used to pursue the creation a full-service Mobility Concierge program capable of facilitating the complete trip and ease trip payment by brokering mobility trips across modes, payment systems, and transit providers.
