CICF is focused on contributing where they can to encourage high quality design. Examples include their sponsorship of the design competition for the City County Building Plaza re-design, design of the public spaces as part of the GM Stamping Plant project, and the creation of an additional Cultural District, Market East. While there is no formal incentive program in place, CICF will continue to identify opportunities to promote and support high-quality design.

CICF has convened the taskforce, Connected Indy, which has begun meeting regularly. The taskforce is currently exploring a big vision and plan for the next phase of bicycle and pedestrian connectivity in Marion County, which includes a $100 million investment strategy. Additionally, with an emphasis on transportation integration, a new personal mobility plan that involves the development of an app will allow users to connect all transportation modes to get to their destination.
